I am a tutor who excels at simplifying complex concepts. I'm available to tutor students in algebra, arithmetic, elementary math, middle school math, computer science, and more. I can also work with students on their organization and study skills. I received my degree from Lorain County College. I believe that all students have the capability to master any subject if they are dedicated, driven, and passionate enough to succeed. As a tutor I am able to take complex subject material that a student may be struggling with and show the material to them in a new light. Showing a student a new, simplified perspective of a concept that they once found to be confusing helps them grow and learn. I find out what the passions and curiosities of my students are and use them as tools to motivate them. I not only want to help my students grasp the subject material, but also develop their skills as a learner in general. It is a privilege to watch students learn how to learn. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy smoking meats, fish, and cheeses. I'm also an avid chess player, and I'm interested in astronomy, model rockets, fishing, and sailing.
