Experience
I recently retired from teaching after being an educator for more than 20 years and last year tutored students in Algebra, Geometry, Microeconomics and Spanish before relocating to Florida this summer. With one student, I also helped with Chemistry, English and general study skills. I have taught Spanish from first grade through the AP high school level, I have taught high school and college math through Calculus, and I have taught Microeconomics at the college level. I was a College Board AP Spanish Language reader for several years. I find that working one-on-one with a student makes a huge difference in their grades and acquisition of the material. I tailor my teaching to meet the students' needs and to their learning styles. I use a variety of techniques to make learning as fun as possible and truly enrich their learning. I am extremely patient, kind and understanding and always maximize the time with my students.
